About Hieu Huynh

Hieu Huynh is a talented Project Designer at DGA, where he plays a key role in the development and delivery of architectural projects across a variety of sectors, including civic, health, research, and sustainable technologies. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Certificate in Sustainable Design from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

At DGA, Hieu is responsible for supporting projects from early conceptual design through construction administration. His responsibilities include space planning, technical detailing, coordination with consultants, and translating client goals into efficient, buildable design solutions. Since joining in 2023, he has contributed to complex projects such as the new County Morgue and Medical Examiner’s Office in San Joaquin, the Nobell Foods HQ and research lab relocation, and high-tech R&D improvements for a CO₂ sequestration company.

Prior to DGA, Hieu gained valuable experience on large-scale public and institutional projects, including the Sacramento Municipal Utility District Headquarters and the State of California DGS 10th and O Street Office Building. He is driven by a passion for sustainable, user-focused design and is committed to delivering projects that are both technically sound and thoughtfully crafted.
